Consideration: Claims and Saves
Once locals are aware of your storefront, the next stage in the A.C.C.E.R. Model is Consideration. At this point, shoppers are deciding whether your offer or event is worth their time and money. On TasteTXK, consideration is measured by claims and saves. These actions show strong interest, even if customers don’t redeem right away .
Why Consideration Matters
Shows Intent: Claims and saves indicate shoppers are seriously evaluating your offer.
Predicts Conversions: High claim or save rates usually lead to higher redemptions later.
Refines Messaging: Tracking what gets claimed vs. ignored helps you fine-tune future promotions.
Builds Loyalty: Saved offers keep your business in the shopper’s personal feed until they’re ready to act.
Key Metrics Explained
1. Claims
Definition: A claim occurs when a shopper clicks “Claim Offer”, generating a voucher in their TasteTXK wallet .
Why It Matters: Claims are the strongest sign of purchase intent. The shopper now has a digital voucher they can redeem.
Formula for Claim Rate:
\text{Claim Rate} = \frac{\text{Total Vouchers Claimed}}{\text{Total Offer Views}} \times 100
Example:
500 views, 50 claims → Claim Rate = 10%
2. Saves
Definition: A save happens when a shopper bookmarks an offer to their personal list for later.
Why It Matters: Saves reflect interest but with lower urgency. They’re a leading indicator of future claims.
Pro Tip: Saved offers get reminders in the app, increasing the chance of eventual redemption.

Improving Consideration
Clarity in Offers: Make descriptions short, clear, and benefit-driven.
High-Quality Photos: Shoppers are more likely to claim visually appealing offers .
Add Urgency: Include time-sensitive wording (“Valid This Weekend Only”).
Boost with Points: Offers with Point rewards get higher claim rates .
Test Fine Print: If shoppers hesitate, your rules may feel too restrictive—simplify terms where possible.
Example Scenario
A local coffee shop posts two offers:
Offer A: “$1 Off Large Coffee” → 500 views, 20 claims, 5 saves (low consideration rate).
Offer B: “BOGO Latte + 100 Points” → 400 views, 75 claims, 40 saves (high consideration rate).
Result: Adding Points and a stronger incentive made Offer B far more compelling.
