Setting Campaign Periods and Limits
Every offer on TasteTXK is time-bound and quantity-bound. Setting the right campaign period and limits ensures your promotion feels urgent, protects your margins, and creates a smooth experience for shoppers. Clear dates and redemption limits also prevent confusion for your staff and customers .
Why Campaign Periods & Limits Matter
Urgency: Time-sensitive offers encourage faster redemptions.
Fairness: Limits prevent a few shoppers from claiming all the vouchers.
Control: You stay in charge of inventory and budget.
Insights: Analytics work best when campaign dates and limits are clearly defined .
Step 1: Set Campaign Period
When creating an offer:
Go to Destinations → Manage Destination → Create Offer.
In the Campaign Period section, set:
Start Date & Time – when the offer becomes active.
End Date & Time – when the offer expires.
Tips:
Use short campaign windows (e.g., 7–14 days) for urgency.
For recurring promotions (like “Weekly Specials”), set weekly start/end dates and duplicate the offer as needed.
If running an event-tied promotion, match the offer’s end date with the event date.
Step 2: Configure Offer Limits
Limits control how many vouchers can be generated and redeemed.
Lifetime Limit – Maximum vouchers ever created for this offer.
Example: 500 vouchers available for a “Free Coffee” deal.
Daily Limit – Maximum vouchers that can be created per day.
Example: 25 vouchers/day to manage staff flow.
Shopper Lifetime Limit – Max number of times one shopper can claim this offer.
Example: 2 per customer for a seasonal discount.
Shopper Daily Limit – Max number of times one shopper can claim the offer in a single day.
Example: 1 per day for a lunch special.
Pro Tip: Set your limits based on inventory and staff capacity, not just demand.
Step 3: Preview Shopper Experience
Shoppers will see:
“Valid until [End Date]” on your offer card.
Remaining voucher availability (if limits are reached, the offer shows as Unavailable).
Redemption instructions in the Fine Print.
This transparency builds trust and prevents confusion at checkout.
Step 4: Monitor & Adjust
Use the Analytics Dashboard to track:
Views (Awareness)
Claims vs. Saves (Consideration)
Redemptions (Conversion)
Repeat claims (Engagement)
If your limits are too strict (offers sell out too quickly), consider raising them mid-campaign.
If demand is lower than expected, extend the campaign period or adjust tags for better visibility.
