Updating Locations or Multiple Destinations
Many local businesses operate from more than one location—or they may move to a new address over time. TasteTXK makes it easy to update your business location or manage multiple destinations under a single account. Keeping your addresses accurate ensures locals can always find you, redeem offers, and attend events without confusion.
Why Location Accuracy Matters
Discoverability: Locals search by neighborhood, ZIP code, and proximity.
Trust: An accurate map pin and hours prevent wasted trips and missed opportunities.
Offers & Events: Only appear in searches if tied to the correct destination.
Analytics: Location data powers insights like foot traffic, redemptions, and repeat visits.
Step 1: Updating Your Location
If your business moves or you need to adjust your storefront address:
Log in to TasteTXK Workspaces.
Go to Destinations → Manage Destination.
Select your business and click Edit Business Details.
Update:
Street Address & Suite Number
City, State, ZIP
Phone & Email (if changed)
Drag and drop the map pin to the exact entrance or parking area.
Click Save Changes.
Pro Tip: Double-check how the map displays in the shopper app. A misplaced pin can reduce walk-ins.
Step 2: Managing Multiple Destinations
If your business has more than one storefront, you can manage them all in Workspaces.
From your dashboard, select Destinations → Add New Destination.
Enter the new location’s:
Name (use consistent branding)
Category & Tags
Unique Address & Hours
Photos and Cover Image
Publish offers and events specific to each location.
Example:
Texarkana Smokehouse – Richmond Rd. → BBQ offers, live music events.
Texarkana Smokehouse – Downtown → Lunch specials, catering orders.
Step 3: Assigning Offers & Events to Locations
Each offer or event must be tied to a single destination.
When creating an offer:
Select the correct Destination Location from the dropdown.
Add tags and categories relevant to that site.
This ensures locals see only offers valid at the store they visit .
Step 4: Team Management Across Locations
Add managers or staff to individual destinations for better control.
Team members only see offers, events, and analytics tied to their assigned location.
Owners/admins can oversee all locations from one account.
Step 5: Best Practices
Consistency: Use the same brand logo and cover across all locations for recognition.
Differentiation: Customize bios, photos, and offers for each location.
Reviews: Encourage customers to review the correct location.
Updates: Check addresses and hours quarterly or before seasonal promotions.
