How Vouchers Are Generated When Offers Are Claimed
Every time a shopper claims one of your offers on TasteTXK, the system automatically creates a voucher. Vouchers act like digital tickets that customers can redeem later at your business. They allow you to track redemptions, measure performance, and ensure each offer is distributed fairly .
Why Vouchers Matter
Trackability: Vouchers let you see exactly how many offers were claimed and redeemed.
Fairness: Limits ensure no single shopper takes more than their share.
Analytics: Voucher data powers conversion and retention reports in your dashboard .
Customer Experience: Shoppers get a clear record of what they’ve claimed and when they can redeem.
Step 1: Claiming an Offer
When a shopper clicks “Claim” on your offer:
A voucher ID (12-character code) is automatically generated .
The voucher is saved in the shopper’s wallet within the TasteTXK app.
The voucher includes:
Offer title & description
Business location
Valid dates (campaign period)
Fine print or redemption instructions
Step 2: Voucher Limits in Action
Voucher generation follows the limits you set when creating the offer:
Lifetime Limit – Caps the total vouchers generated.
Daily Limit – Controls how many vouchers can be created per day.
Shopper Lifetime Limit – Limits how many times a single shopper can claim.
Shopper Daily Limit – Prevents a shopper from repeatedly claiming the same offer in one day.
Example:
Lifetime limit: 500 vouchers
Daily limit: 25
Shopper daily limit: 1
On launch day, the first 25 shoppers who claim will receive vouchers. Once the daily limit is reached, the offer shows as Unavailable until the next day.
Step 3: Shopper Redemption
When a customer visits your business:
They present their voucher from the app.
Staff verifies and marks it as redeemed.
The system deducts it from the offer’s voucher pool and updates analytics.
Pro Tip: Train staff on how to quickly confirm voucher codes for a smooth checkout.
Step 4: Expiration & Expired Vouchers
Vouchers automatically expire at the end of the campaign period you set.
Expired vouchers remain in the shopper’s history but cannot be redeemed.
This protects your business from honoring outdated promotions.
Step 5: Tracking Voucher Performance
In your Analytics Dashboard, you can track:
Claims (how many vouchers were generated)
Saves (offers bookmarked but not yet claimed)
Redemptions (how many vouchers were used)
Conversion Rate: (Redemptions ÷ Claims) × 100
Example:
100 vouchers claimed
60 redeemed
Conversion Rate = 60%
