Using Points to Boost Offers and Reward Shoppers
TasteTXK Points are the community’s reward currency. When your business attaches Points to offers or events, shoppers earn extra value for their participation. This not only makes your promotions stand out but also strengthens customer loyalty and encourages repeat visits. Think of Points as a multiplier—they increase visibility, attract new customers, and reward your regulars .
Why Use Points?
Boost Offer Visibility: Offers with Point rewards surface higher in search and filtered results.
Drive More Redemptions: Shoppers are more likely to claim deals that include bonus Points.
Encourage Repeat Visits: Points can be redeemed for rewards, motivating customers to return.
Support Community Impact: You can also donate Points to local nonprofits, creating goodwill.
Step 1: Allocate Points to Your Offer
Log in to TasteTXK Workspaces → Destinations → Manage Destination → Create Offer.
In the Point Pool section:
Enter the total number of Points you want to fund.
Set the per-redemption reward (e.g., 100 Points per voucher).
Save and publish your offer.
Example:
A restaurant funds 5,000 Points.
Each redeemed voucher gives the shopper 100 Points.
The pool supports 50 total redemptions.
Step 2: Reward Shoppers Through Events
Points aren’t just for offers—you can use them to add excitement to events:
RSVP Bonus: Attendees earn Points for signing up early.
Ticket Incentives: Paid ticket buyers receive extra Points with purchase.
Participation Rewards: Volunteers or participants earn Points for engagement.
Example:
A gym hosts a “Summer Bootcamp.” Each ticket purchase includes 250 bonus Points, encouraging commitment and loyalty.
Step 3: Monitor Your Point Pools
Track remaining Points in your Points Dashboard.
View performance in your Analytics Dashboard :
Impressions (who saw the offer)
Claims (who clicked “Claim”)
Redemptions (who redeemed and earned Points)
If a pool runs out, shoppers can still redeem the offer, but no Points will be awarded.
Step 4: Best Practices for Using Points
Start with 100–200 Points per redemption for most offers.
Boost new launches or high-priority campaigns with 250–500 Points.
Create urgency by highlighting Point rewards in your title or description.
Example: “BOGO Coffee + 200 Points”.
Rotate Point values seasonally—offer more during holidays or competitive times.
Combine with Collaborations: Donate a portion of Points to a nonprofit when offers are redeemed for extra community impact .
Step 5: Shopper Experience
When shoppers redeem an offer with Points attached:
They see the Point reward amount on the offer card.
After redemption, Points are automatically added to their account.
Shoppers can use Points to:
Redeem rewards in the Rewards Catalog
Donate to approved nonprofits
Transfer Points to friends and family
This makes your offers feel more rewarding and memorable.
